Startup Mahakumbh was a first-of-its-kind event that brought together the entire Indian startup ecosystem, including startups, investors, incubators and accelerators, and industry leaders from several sectors. The event was held from March 18-20, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam and ITPO, New Delhi. Led by the collaborative efforts of ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, Bootstrap Incubation and Advisory Foundation, TiE, and Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA), the event featured sector-focused pavilions that showcased India’s most innovative startups.

With the central theme ‘Bharat Innovates’, the event featured mentorship clinics, pitch competitions, and a multi-track conference with leadership talks, panel discussions, workshops, and activities for startups as well as future entrepreneurs. The event also hosted a Future Entrepreneurs Day on March 20, with a focus on cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit among students. The Future Entrepreneurs Day brought together close to 5,000 individuals handpicked by colleges and incubators nationwide for their inclination towards entrepreneurship.

With the purpose of enabling connections and bringing together startups with a spectrum of investors such as VCs, angel investors, family offices, and HNIs, as well as potential corporate partners, the event hosted 1,000+ startups, 10+ thematic tracks, 1,000+ investors, 500+ incubators and accelerators, 5,000+ conference delegates, 10+ country delegations, and 40,000+ business visitors over three days.

The event featured 10 distinct pavilions, each representing a key vertical of the startup ecosystem. These pavilions served as hubs of innovation, showcasing trends, technologies, and insights across the ecosystem.
